This granita offers a refreshing and indulgent moment that will satisfy both adults and kids, as our Icy Peach is naturally caffeine-free!
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (10g) of
- 2 cups (50cl) of filtered water
- ½ cup (12cl) of yellow peach juice or 2 yellow peaches blended without the skin
- 1 yellow peach sliced into 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick slices
- Grenadine syrup
- A few fresh green mint leaves
- Freezer
Preparation
- Infuse 3 tbsp (10g) of in 2 cups (50cl) of water at room temperature for 45minutes.
- After 45 minutes, remove the infused leaves and add the peach juice or blended peaches.
- Place the mixture in a suitable covered container and freeze for about 6 hours. Every hour, use a fork to scrape the frozen parts on the sides into smaller pieces and bring them to the center. If it freezes too hard, let the container sit at room temperature for a few minutes and then use the fork again. Repeat this process every hour until you achieve a collection of small crystals.
- Pour the mixture into small glasses, add a few mint leaves, the peach slices, and drizzle with a few drops of grenadine syrup. It's ready to enjoy!
Variation
This recipe easily converts into popsicles. Simply pour the mixture into popsicle molds, add one or two peach slices, mint leaves, and a splash of grenadine syrup, then freeze for 6 hours.
