Rich and voluptuous, Lover's Tea ("Thé des Amants" in French) is a fragrant blend of Chinese and Indian black teas, apple, almond, cinnamon and vanilla, spiced with a hint of ginger. It is a delight with dark chocolate!
Black teas, which the Chinese call red tea due to the coppery colour of the infusion, are teas whose leaves have undergone full oxidation.

This tea is a warm hug in a mug. It is also very refreshing iced. Guests ask if the can have a cup of this tea whenever they visit. Maybe they visit just for the tea! Had it iced at a picnic in a 2 gallon dispenser. Not a drop left. Great year-round, but perfect for fall!

For Christmas I ordered the Advent Calendar of Tea. Each day before Christmas I opened the secret door which revealed a quote in French and English, and a packet of tea. The tea choices ranged from black teas to green teas to herbal teas, some familiar, most undiscovered. It was a delight to savor new blends of black tea, my favorite, especially the rich flavor of Saint James O.P., and the delicate flavors within Tea des Amants, Lovers Tea. I ordered the teas I especially enjoyed and shared some packets with friends. The herbal teas are becoming my gentle friends I turn to before retiring to sleep. Thank you for the calendar; it was a lovely way to enjoy Advent. Thank you for the delicious teas that enrich my life. Merci beaucoup!
