Sencha Ariake is a revitalizing Japanese green tea with a vegetal, somewhat iodine aroma. In the morning, it's delicious. This is an excellent introduction to sencha.
It is harvested in June each year from the Yabukita and Okumidori varieties.
Sencha is the most well-known Japanese tea. This tea is distinguished by its folded leaves. It can be consumed hot or cold at any time of day.
Sencha Ariake compliments grilled fish like red mullet, sea bream, sea bass, and salmon, as well as shellfish like prawns, scallops, and clams. It pairs well with red fruit in a mousse or sorbet for individuals with a sweet tooth.
