Description
This Ichibancha is crafted on the island of Tanegashima, located at the southern tip of Japan. It is produced by Mr. Matsushita using a very rare cultivar known as *Shoju*—the earliest-blooming tea variety in the country.
The first spring sencha of the year is a true delight, offering vegetal, buttery, and marine notes that melt into a smooth, rich, and silky texture.

Suggestion of preparation
Using a teapot or tasting set: steep for 3 minutes in water heated to 160°F.
Using a kyusu or shiboridashi: 0.35 oz (10g) / 4 fl oz (12cl)

- 2nd infusion: 160°F – immediate pour
- 3rd infusion: 160°F – 45 seconds
