A perennial plant studded with many small, bright yellow flowers, St. John's wort was considered by ancient druids to be a blessed plant whose smell drove away evil spirits, hence its alternative name, The Devil’s Scourge. St John’s wort can be recognised by the many dots visible on its leaves when held up to the light.

How to prepare this infusion hot:
Infuse 0.6 oz / 16 g in 0.34 flo oz / 1 L of filtered water at 200°F (90°C) for 5 minutes.
How to prepare this infusion iced:
Infuse 0.6 oz / 16 g in 0.6 flo oz / 1 L of filtered water at room temperature for 1 hour. When the infusion is ready, place the liquor in the fridge to cool.
