Description
This tea comes from the Barnesbeg Tea Estate in Darjeeling, where the tea plants grow at an altitude of around 1,200 meters in the foothills of the Himalayas. The estate is named after Christine Barnes, who planted the first tea bushes there in 1877.
This organic first flush Darjeeling offers intense floral and almond notes, balanced by a subtle hint of bitterness.
It is organically grown and certified by an approved independent testing center.

Prepare this tea warm:
With the teapot or the tasting set: 3’45 minutes in water heated to 185°F.
With the Gong Fu Cha: multiple infusions during 30-40 seconds.
Also delicious iced:
Steep 0.3 oz (8g) in 17 fl oz (50cl) of water at room temperature 45 min. Remove the tea leaves and refrigerate.
