This porcelain teapot is covered with a glaze featuring multiple reflections, reminiscent of a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, known as "Ajisai" in Japanese, which bloom during the rainy season. With its stainless steel filter and 15 oz (45 cl) capacity, it allows you to enjoy the full aromatic richness of infused tea and serves up to 4 cups, perfect for solo enjoyment or sharing.
Paired with one or more Ajisai cups, it creates a set that will delight lovers of Japanese craftsmanship.
Handcrafted in Japan by Mr. Akihiro Ito, the Ajisai teapot has a 15 oz (45 cl) capacity.
Its blue reflections result from the reaction of the glaze to the high kiln temperature, giving each teapot a unique appearance. After firing, it is fitted with a stainless steel filter and a bamboo handle.
As a handmade item, each teapot is a unique piece and may show slight variations from one model to another.
