This Shu Pu-erh is harvested in Yunnan Province, China, and made from Assamica tea plants.
During the fermentation of Shu Pu-erh teas, some leaves are compressed into a dense block that retains its shape even when steeped—this is known as Lao Cha Tou.
Rich and sweet, this Shu Pu-erh evokes notes of wood, vanilla bean, and mushrooms. A rare Grand Cru.
