Description

The winter solstice, known as Touji in Japan, inspired the design of this ceramic teapot with a deep black background.

Each Touji teapot is handcrafted in Japan and is one-of-a-kind: the temperature of the kiln and the ambient air, as well as the position of the teapot in the kiln, influence the final appearance of the ochre and blue glazes. As a result, each teapot has a distinct color gradient.

Its 15 oz (45 cl) capacity allows you to serve several small cups, making it ideal for sharing your favorite tea with friends. Each teapot includes a stainless steel filter.

The Touji teapot and matching cups, both available separately, make an ideal Holiday season gift for tea and craftsmanship enthusiasts.

Advices

To avoid damaging the paint, wash the Touji teapot by hand.

It is made in Japan, or is perfect size, quality and color! I am love pouting it into my large cup and watch it being filled up perfectly!
