Description
This Grand Cru comes from the island of Tanegashima, southern Japan, a region with mild temperatures that is perfect for the first teas of the year. It is the fruit of Mr. Matsushita's thorough work, and is made using the rare and early budding Kuritawase cultivar.
This highly fresh spring sencha has a delicate umami taste and reveals buttery, marine and fruity notes that develop against a silky texture.
