Description

The stainless steel calabash is a classic accessory for preparing and enjoying mate with ease. Its double-wall design keeps your mate at the perfect temperature while preventing burns on your hands. Made from stainless steel, it’s easy to maintain, and the exclusive silicone lid secures the bombilla and allows you to carry the calabash with you. The calabash is customized with the Palais des Thés logo.


Please note: The calabash is sold without the bombilla.

Advices

• Remove the lid and clean your calabash after each use.

• Hand wash each component (calabash and lid) with warm water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.

• Rinse and let the components dry separately.

• Do not use in the microwave, dishwasher, or freezer. Avoid boiling to sterilize. Do not soak for extended periods. Do not use solvents, benzene, bleach, or other abrasive cleaning agents. Do not place on a heat source.

I liked the mate calabash, however, I was disappointed not to receive the straw (bombilla) that was shown in the image on the website, so I can't use the gourd to drink the mate. Without the straw, I don't think the price of the cup is worth it.

I just tried these teas for the first time and I really love this brand! The selection is excellent and I've enjoyed trying a variety of black & green teas.
