Description

Tea was discovered in China a very long time ago. Since then, tea farming has spread to many countries in Asia and the rest of the world. China, Japan, India and Taiwan are some of the most celebrated tea-producing countries. This box contains four single-estate teas, all from growing regions in Asia. Each one has its unique flavour characteristics, which depend on the processing method (green tea, black tea, oolong) and the different mountains on which it grew.

SENCHA ARIAKE - 50g
Sencha Ariake is a fresh and invigorating Japanese green tea with a vegetal, slightly iodine scent. Delicious in the morning. A good introduction to Sencha.

GRAND YUNNAN IMPERIAL - 30g
Also know as "surgeon's tea" as it awakens without overstimulating, this tea has a honeyed scent and is ideal in the morning.

DARJEELING MARGARET'S HOPE - 30g
Darjeeling Margaret's Hope is a second flush Darjeeling from the high Himalayan highlands. Woody and fruity with plenty of character, it invigorates without overstimulating.

DONG DING - 40g
Considered one of Taiwan's most superb oolongs, this tea offers the floral notes of a low oxidized oolong alongside the fruity notes of a Fancy oolong.
