Suggestion of preparation
For a teapot or the tasting set: Steep 1 teaspoon (about 2-3 grams) of tea in 8 oz (250 ml) of water at 167°F (75°C) for 2 minutes.
For Gong Fu Cha: Infuse 1 teaspoon (about 2-3 grams) of tea in 2 oz (60 ml) of water for 30-40 seconds.
For Kyusu/Shiboridashi: Brew using 1 teaspoon (about 2-3 grams) of tea in 8 oz (250 ml) of water, with successive infusions of 1 minute each.
Iced Tea: Steep 1 tablespoon (about 8 grams) of tea in 17 oz (500 ml) of room temperature water for 30 minutes. Remove the leaves and place the liquor in the refrigerator to cool.
