Cocoa, almonds, buckwheat... All the indulgence of Sweet Grains herbal tea is found in these cereal bars, designed like energy balls! With no refined sugar and no baking required, these sweet treats are a concentrated source of energy perfect for fueling the active days of any gourmet.
1| Infuse the Blend: Steep Sweet Grains in 6.8 fl oz (20 cl) of water at 195°F (90°C) for 5 minutes.
2| Place the chopped dates in 3.4 fl oz (10 cl) of the infusion to plump them up for 10 minutes; drain the fruit and set aside.
3| In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, the coarsely chopped almonds, the softened dates, and 2.5 oz (70 g) of the whole buckwheat.
4| Fill financier molds (or small rectangular bar molds) with this mixture, pressing down firmly with the back of a spoon.
5| Reduce the remaining of toasted buckwheat into a powder; set aside.
6| Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler (bain-marie). Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, then into the buckwheat powder. Set aside on parchment paper.
7| Enjoy when the chocolate has sufficiently hardened.

You can accompany your cereal bars with a Sweet Grains latte, made by plunging 0.3 oz (8 g) of the blend into a mug of hot almond milk for 5 minutes.These delicious bars will keep for up to one week in an airtight metal tin.
