Like a memory of summer afternoon snacks from childhood, this fruity granita is both indulgent and refreshing. Perfect for sharing with both kids and adults, as our Strawberry Granita creation is naturally caffeine-free!
Infuse 1 XL pouch (or 2.5 tbsp of loose tea in a tea filter) of Strawberry Granita Iced Tea (Organic)
in ¾ cup (20cl) of water at room temperature for on hour.
Strain and set aside.
2. The Granita
Hull the strawberries and blend them. Add the Strawberry Granita infusion to the strawberry puree. Mix, then add the cane sugar syrup and a few drops of lemon juice.
Pour the mixture into an airtight container and place it in the freezer for about 4 hours. Every hour, use a fork to scrape and break up the frozen parts on the edges into smaller pieces and bring them back to the center.
Once the desired texture is achieved, spoon the granita into small glasses and enjoy with a spoon!
