Rediscover the renowned white tea Bai Mu Dan ("white peony"), this time as a Grand Cru. This tea is made by Ms. Ying, a grower from Yunnan, who developed this tea from a first flush. The tea plants grow at over 1,600 metres above sea level along Bai Mang mountain. To produce this Bai Mu Dan, Ms. Ying used an uncommon cultivar, the Yu Kang, which is made from Da Ye tea plants.

This Bai Mu Dan is sourced from an uncommon location, and the method used to produce it is similar to its counterpart in Fujian: its leaves are first withered for 24 hours, then they are carefully dried until the optimal moisture content for retaining freshness is achieved in the leaf.

This white tea combines a fine, powdery texture with highly fresh floral and vegetal notes. A stylish Bai Mu Dan.
