Description
Gyokuro is a shaded tea, which means that the tea bushes are deprived of light three weeks before harvesting to encourage the development of an umami taste and a smooth texture. Its name translates as "Jade dew," referring to its elegance and tenderness.
A generous and rich tea with an oily texture and notes of fruit, seafood, and vegetables.
This tea is certified organic by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
