Matcha is a Gyokuro green tea (lien vers Gyokyro?) powder used in the Japan tea ceremony.
This Matchat has been selected by the Urasenke school, one of the two Japanese tea schools. It is a very high quality Matcha from Uji and stands out from other Matchas with its more delicate and planty flavor that lingers longer on the palate: a real joy!
It is an outstanding quality usucha type (light tea) to offer to true tea connoisseurs and Cha No Yu practitioners.
How to prepare this tea ?
This ceremonial tea can also be prepared in a less elaborate manner as an everyday drink for pleasure (though it does require a Matcha whisk - LIEN VERS MATCHA WHISK). Place a teaspoonful of Matcha in a large, dry bowl, add 0.6 cups of simmering water and beat with the whisk, briskly, until you obtain a thoroughly emulsified froth.
