Detail
This intense and aromatic second flush tea is positively transporting, with strong fruity, woody, and spicy notes.

In Nepal, east of Kathmandu, there is a valley from which, on a clear day, you can see the fifth highest peak in the world: Makalu. The tea from this high valley is produced by three prestigious plantations: Guranse, Jun Chiyabari and Kuwapani. This latter garden, situated at an altitude of 1,800 metres, has now brought us a real gem: Kuwapani Makalu Tippy.

François-Xavier Delmas' choice:
“A fruity, well-balanced tea. I chose it as an introduction to Kuwapani, a plantation I’m very fond of that produces some remarkable teas.”
